Focaccia with ‘nduja and ricotta

Focaccia! Who doesn’t love it? This Italian bread is soft, airy, and packed with flavor. In this recipe, I give classic focaccia a spicy twist with creamy ricotta and ‘nduja, a spreadable, slightly spicy sausage from Calabria. This ‘nduja and ricotta focaccia is perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or lunch. And believe me: you’ll want to bake this.

Ingredients

  • ▢350 g flour + extra for dusting
  • ▢1 sachet of dried yeast (7 grams)
  • ▢1/2 tsp sugar
  • ▢3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil plus extra for greasing and drizzling
  • ▢200 ml warm water
  • ▢4 el ‘nduja
  • ▢125 g ricotta
  • ▢2 sprigs of rosemary, only the needles
  • ▢4 tbsp honey
