
Preparation of American pancakes
Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Then add the eggs, melted butter, and buttermilk. Beat until well combined, creating a smooth batter with a consistency similar to custard.
Then heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add a little oil or butter and slowly add a ladleful of batter. If you have a large pan, you can easily bake three American pancakes at a time.
Wait until the pancakes start to bubble. Once the largest bubbles have popped, you can flip the American pancakes. Then cook them for another two minutes on the other side.
