🥖 Homemade rolls (like from a bakery)
📝 Ingredients:.

500 g plain flour

300 ml lukewarm water

20 g fresh yeast

10 g sugar
-
10 g salt
-
30 ml of oil
-
poppy seeds or coarse salt for sprinkling

1️⃣ Kvass
Crumble the yeast into a bowl, add the sugar, a little lukewarm water and a tablespoon of flour.
Mix and let rise for 10–15 minutes .
2️⃣ Dough
Put the flour, salt, oil, the rest of the water and the ready-made yeast in a bowl.
Knead a smooth, non-sticky and elastic dough .
Cover and let rise for about 60 minutes , until it doubles in volume.
3️⃣ Shaping rolls
Divide the dough into equal parts (approx. 80–90 g).
Roll each part into a triangle and roll it up from the wider side into a roll shape .
Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
4️⃣ Finishing and sprinkling
Let the rolls rise for 20–30 minutes .
Brush with water and sprinkle with poppy seeds or salt .
5️⃣ Baking
Bake in a preheated oven at 220 °C for about 12–15 minutes , until golden brown.
After baking, the rolls can be lightly sprayed with water for a shiny crust.
