Instant yeast dough without rising – a simple recipe for delicious baked goods

Preparation method:

  1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water at about 30 degrees Celsius. Add a tablespoon of sugar and mix well. Set aside to activate the yeast.
  2. Meanwhile, sift the flour into a large bowl to make kneading easier. Add the remaining sugar, salt, and oil to the flour. Mix well.
  3. Now add the prepared yeast mixture to the flour and mix until smooth.
  4. Add boiling water and try to distribute it evenly through the dough. Start mixing immediately until smooth.
  5. Once the dough comes together, turn it out onto the counter. If it’s too sticky, add a little more flour. Then knead the dough until it’s smooth and elastic.
  6. This amount of ingredients will yield approximately 750 grams of dough. Divide it into several equal portions to make it easier to form into rolls.

Forming the rolls and filling them

The dough is ready for further processing – now it’s time to get creative! This no-rise yeast dough is perfect for making rolls, but you can also use it for other baked goods. Cover it with aluminum foil and prepare the filling of your choice. The possibilities are endless – from sweet rolls with strawberries, rhubarb, or blueberries to savory options with cheese, spinach, or meat. You can also leave out the sugar and fill them with a non-sweet filling.
